AgGateway's Annual Conference draws hundreds of business and IT professionals to discuss ongoing initiatives to help companies better manage and use agricultural information. Early registrants receive a significant registration discount.

Featured speakers this year include:

  • Conference keynote Chase Sowden, Supply Chain Architect with Barcoding Inc., will address the state of automatic identification technology and implementation in agriculture. Whether your interest is in logistics, inventory management, sales support or back office operations, you’ll catch the vision of how auto ID capture and data exchange brings value to your business and the industry.
  • Marc Bolick, DesignThinkers Group, will discuss how to focus on the customer need and experience in product design and development, and how agricultural organizations can improve through “design thinking”. Organizations that implement design thinking tools and principles report higher customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Larkin Martin of Martin Farms will consider data capture and usage as she shares success stories and calls for innovations to help growers in their daily operations. Martin manages a family farming operation in northern Alabama. A lively and informative session for technologists and business leaders alike.

Other highlights include a new half-day session called “Seed Quick Connect,” focused on face-to-face meetings to help foster electronic connections between ag retailers and seed distributors and manufacturers. Another session will focus on emerging technologies such as blockchain technology and how it will impact agriculture. Working sessions will advance implementation of new connectivity resources for crop protection, crop nutrition, specialty chemical, precision ag and more.

Join us for the "Think Like A Startup” pre-conference workshop! This is a high-energy and fun workshop run by Marc Bolick, DesignThinkers Group, that enables you to see your organization through a new lens. Using elements of design thinking, agile and lean startup, you will learn how to align team values, organizational culture, product offerings, and business models with customer needs and goals. In just three hours, you will form a team and co-create a completely new business using a human-centered design approach.

The Annual Conference also features a welcome luncheon for first-time attendees, the annual awards program, and networking receptions. Companies can take advantage of prime sponsorship opportunities, found on the right sidebar, or by contacting Sponsorship@AgGateway.org.

Great opportunities to network and advance eConnectivity in agriculture – in ag retail, crop protection, crop nutrition, seed, grain, feed, precision ag and specialty chemical! The program is especially geared to ag retailers, distributors, manufacturers, and software and data service providers, as well as professionals in academia, agricultural organizations, students and ag media.
