Mid-Year Meeting

See You Next Week at Prairie Meadows!

By the AgGateway Conference Committee

We have a great conference in store for you next week in Altoona, Iowa. If you haven't already registered for the conference, you can do so here or on site. A few highlights of this year's program:

  • Opening General Session: Blockchain in Agriculture Fireside Chat - A discussion on blockchain technology and its potential impact on agriculture, with experts from Purdue University and Chronicled. Hear a technology overview on blockchain and types of implementations, and a discussion of agricultural scenarios, including who should be implementing, what problems blockchain might handle well, and what problems are not well served by blockchain.

  • Join the Quick Connect Session featuring face-to-face meetings between trading partners implementing electronic connections. Want to sign up? Contact Member Services at Member.Services@AgGateway.org.

  • Educational Session: AgGateway's Member Portal and Other Resources - Learn how to navigate the new AgGateway member portal, which allows you to maintain your personal or company profile, make council and committee elections, look up contact information of other AgGateway members, make online payments, and much more.

  • Join the first face-to-face meeting of the cross-council Traceability Working Group.

  • Join the many Council and Committee meetings – share your ideas and help move processes and initiatives forward!

  • Network, network, network!

Find everything you need - agenda, hotel, etc. - at the conference webpage.
