AgGateway Offers Special Workshop on the new ADAPT Toolkit for Interoperability of Precision Ag Systems 

Washington, D.C., April 28, 2016 – AgGateway is offering a special workshop June 16 in Minneapolis to provide helpful guidance to software developers and business leaders wishing to use the new, open-source ADAPT toolkit to allow interoperability in precision agriculture applications. New Irrigation Standards from AgGateway PAIL Project Will Help Growers Achieve Smarter Water and Energy Use

Washington, D.C., March 31, 2016 – Drip irrigation phase of project now underway—If farmers and agronomists were better able to use data from their irrigation management systems - including information on weather, soil moisture and crop types - they could make more informed decisions about when, where and how much water to apply, resulting in smarter energy and water use, and lowering costs while protecting or improving yield. This need to better manage data is especially relevant and valuable as growers continue to collect information using different types and brands of equipment. To respond to this pressing need for seamless exchange of data, AgGateway's PAIL (Precision Ag Irrigation Leadership) Project has been developing open, international irrigation standards over the past four years that are now nearing completion. Electronic Communication Between Precision Ag Systems Nears Reality With AgGateway Team’s Release of ADAPT

Washington, D.C., February 25, 2016 – The promise of seamless communication between different precision agriculture systems – regardless of the system manufacturer – has moved into an exciting new stage with public availability of the ADAPT software toolkit. ADAPT, which stands for Agricultural Data Application Programming Toolkit, will eliminate the major pain points to broad use of precision agriculture data by easily enabling interoperability between different software and hardware applications. New Standardized File Format Makes Sales Reporting Easier and More Cost-Efficient

Washington, D.C., February 10, 2016 – AgGateway and ARA To Hold Educational Webinar– Washington, D.C., February 10, 2016 – AgGateway and the Agricultural Retailers Association (ARA) are encouraging agricultural retailers and distributors to take advantage of a new standard to reduce the cost and complexity of sales reporting. AgGateway's Ag Retail Council has developed a standard file format for sales reporting to manufacturers and suppliers that is easy to use and widely accepted in the agriculture industry. As with all standards created through AgGateway’s collaborative process, this standard is freely available to all in the industry as a means to promote, enable and expand eBusiness.
