Annual Meeting and Conference

Five Reasons to Register Now

With the 2025 AgGateway Annual Meeting and Conference just a month away, now is the time to lock in your registration and lodging at the Wyndham Grand Hotel in Clearwater Beach, FL. The discounted room block rate of $249 expires on 13 October, so book your room now for the best rate.

We’re celebrating two decades of achievement in digital connectivity and interoperability in agriculture with a fully revamped agenda, some exciting new programs, and ample opportunities to network in one of Florida’s most beautiful coastal settings.

Here are five reasons to join us in Florida next month:

  1. Focus on Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture. We surveyed membership about topics to cover at conference, and you told us:  Artificial Intelligence is on your mind.

Helping to lead the discussions around AI will be two individuals with deep background in agriculture and the evolving impact of AI. Tami Craig Shilling, recently retired from Bayer Cropscience (and Monsanto prior to the acquisition) with 35 years in the agriculture industry, will share her learnings and perspective on AI having most recently served as Bayer’s Digital Engagement Lead.

Joining Tami will be Preston Fay, Manager, Digital and Analytics with consulting firm Kearney. Fay was the builder and founder of Technekes/TKXS, which became one of the industry’s most trusted partners for data-driven sales and marketing execution. He joined TELUS as Global Head of Data Science after its acquisition of TKXS in 2019 and served as a consultant with the Context Network for two years prior to its acquisition by Kearney.

  2. Policy And Legislative Discussion. Also on the agenda is a deep into government policy and legislation from Mary Kay Thatcher, long time government relations specialist with the American Farm Bureau Federation and more recently with Syngenta, Thatcher is now an independent consultant.

  3. Beer and Bull Premieres. Another exciting addition to the agenda this year will be the Tuesday afternoon “Beer and Bull” session. AgGateway’s Jeremy Wilson will join Tami, Preston, and Mary Kay on the main stage to moderate a series of tabletop breakouts on key topics from the conference, followed by a full report out and discussion of the learnings.

  4. Brush up on AgGateway Offerings. Getting the most from your membership means taking full advantage of everything we have to offer. Staff led orientation sessions allow you to learn more about the organization and opportunities to participate in working groups and meetups, and a three-session immersion in AGIIS training ensures you are getting the most out of your subscription.

  5. Marilyn Hunter Returns: Back by popular demand, Marilyn is bringing her meeting facilitation training course back to the conference. Learn how professionals plan and execute meetings that deliver consensus and empower every participant.
