2024 AgGateway Annual Conference

Data – accurate, verifiable, and interoperable data – is the thread that will make sustainability, carbon sequestration, and other smart agriculture initiatives possible. Anything less means that we as an industry will fall short and find ourselves vulnerable to mandates that may not be achievable.

The good news for all of us is that agriculture has a plethora of data it collects all along the crop production cycle from soil, weather, plants, inputs, field activities, machinery, implements, and more. The bad news – much of this data is inaccessible, inaccurate, and/or fixed to a particular system or platform that can’t be readily shared.

To take advantage of the high-value opportunities that will be available to our industry in the years ahead, we must overcome these data obstacles and be ready to deliver what these programs demand from what we call “Environmental Reporting.”

The AgGateway Annual Conference will touch on the full breadth of our own work on Environmental Reporting and provide experts and outside perspectives on the state of, and prospects for, the programs and initiatives that have put Environmental Reporting in the spotlight.

This event combines real working sessions on advanced initiatives, meet-ups and committee gatherings to discuss new and longer-term projects, and a host of conference sessions designed to create discussion and infuse enthusiasm for the AgGateway Mission.

Along with learning and working sessions, the conference features multiple networking breaks and receptions, as well as a welcome luncheon for first-time attendees.

Annual Conference attendees include leading agribusiness managers, IT professionals, and other representatives from the entire crop production channel, including input and equipment manufacturing, software and data service providers, ag retailers and distributors, in addition to professionals in precision ag, academia, agricultural organizations, students, and ag media.
