The Gateway to Ag Careers Program, Hosted by AgGateway, offers an opportunity for selected students to attend the AgGateway Annual Conference this fall to network with agriculture industry professionals, take in high-value learning sessions, and get a deeper understanding of the career opportunities available in high-tech agriculture.
As a young professional in the Ag Technology industry, it is very difficult to point yourself towards a company or role that will be both sustaining and rewarding due to the dynamic nature of our field. For me, the Gateway to Ag Careers program opened my eyes to the vast number of opportunities within Agriculture, and helped me identify my niche within the marketplace. Even years after this event, I have maintained contact with my mentor and other colleagues I met in the program. I would recommend GTAC to any young person looking to further their exposure and build lasting relationships.

The AgGateway Annual Meeting and Conference will be held November 2-5, 2025 at the Wyndham Grand Hotel in Clearwater Beach, FL.The Gateway to Ag Careers program will award each selected student with roundtrip airfare, accommodations at the conference hotel, and conference registration fees. Successful nominees are high achieving, mature students who are working toward a career in agriculture.
Faculty, academic and/or professional advisors are asked to submit nominations via email using this form. A completed nomination form must be submitted along with an endorsement paragraph written by the advisor and a brief one-page essay written by the student. Nominations will be accepted from June 1 through September 15.
Award letters will be issued by the first week of October, and students must then verify acceptance of the award.
