Washington, D.C., March 10, 2016 – Registration is now open for AgGateway’s Mid-Year Meeting, June 13-16 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Bloomington, Minnesota, just south of Minneapolis. The meeting provides valuable insights and networking for anyone seeking to expand eBusiness in agriculture – from seasoned AgGateway members to ag professionals new to the organization. The working meeting provides multiple networking opportunities, as well as many open working group sessions where teams discuss ways to advance their collaborative eBusiness initiatives.
“Significant advances in connectivity for precision agriculture… new resources for ag retailers, manufacturers and distributors… a value calculator and other resources to assist with barcoding… new initiatives for the specialty chemical sector – these are just some of the exciting developments that will be on the agenda at this year’s Mid-Year Meeting,” said AgGateway President and CEO Wendy Smith. “We invite companies to come see how much they – and the industry – will continue to benefit as information is more efficiently and accurately exchanged between business partners.”
In keeping with its mission to promote, enable and expand eBusiness in agriculture, AgGateway offers modest registration fees to encourage maximum participation in collaborative eBusiness projects. Registration is just $125 for both members and non-members. In addition, those who register by April 22 will be entered into a drawing to win a special VIP attendee package, including a complimentary hotel room upgrade to a suite and other benefits. The special hotel rate at the DoubleTree, available until May 20, is $125/night.
