Agenda is Set for 2026 Annual Meeting and Conference

Three days of learning and networking are on tap at the 2026 AgGateway Annual Meeting and Conference, 9-11 November at the Hilton Nashville Downtown in Nashville, TN. The complete agenda is now available for review, and includes three general sessions and four exceptional expert presentations designed to get attendees up to speed on the state of digital connectivity in agriculture, the ongoing impact of artificial intelligence, and government policy and priorities in the wake of a historic mid-term election. A Busy Fall Ahead

Our working groups are continuing to chip away at their deliverables with each making steady progress on their march to improve the specific interoperability pain point they set out to address.

Progress was a little slow in August since a lot of volunteer members were on holiday and balancing other commitments. But people are now coming back recharged and ready to wrap up some of these projects. We are also getting a few more working groups organized following the roundtable discussions at the Mid-Year Meeting. There were some great discussions and ideas shared that we are refining into some clear deliverables and scope. So be on the lookout for the new calls to participate in the coming weeks. Read more >

Disaster Recovery Exercise Postmortem

The annual Ag Industry Identification System (AGIIS) disaster recovery exercise was conducted on July 24 and 25, providing an important opportunity to confirm recovery readiness and identify areas where additional attention may be needed.

During the exercise, the team tested multiple methods of access to AGIIS, including web access, API access, and FTP access. Web access and API testing were completed successfully, confirming that those critical access methods performed as expected during the exercise window. Read more >

Gateway To Ag Careers Application Deadline Approaching

The Gateway to Ag Careers program, presented by AgGateway and sponsored by the AgCIO Roundtable with additional support from Syngenta, is accepting student applications until September 15. This program offers an opportunity for selected students to attend the AgGateway Annual Meeting and Conference in November to network with agriculture industry professionals, take in high-value learning sessions, and get a deeper understanding of the career opportunities available in high-tech agriculture.
