Welcome New Associate Member!

Building the Future on Two Decades of Achievement

AgGateway is thrilled to be celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. It’s an impressive accomplishment given that the Bureau of Labor Statistics says only 20% of companies last 20 or more years. And while we’ve never been an organization content to revel in past achievements, this does afford us the opportunity to look back at two decades of work.

In the years since its founding member companies recognized and acted on the need to align practical, implementable data exchange standards across the chemical, seed, and nutrition segments, AgGateway has grown from a couple dozen members to over 200. Our workload has evolved from large scale, long runway efforts to “short sprints” that deliver quick value to participants. We’ve expanded our geographic and industry segment influence. Read more >

Registration Now Open

AgGateway is pleased to announce that registration for the 2025 Mid-Year Meeting is now open. The event will return to Prairie Meadows Hotel and Casino in Altoona, Iowa USA on 9-11 June. Click here to be taken to the event home page.

Reviewing First Quarter Priorities

It may not come as a surprise to most of you, but January is not customarily a month of great productivity for AgGateway working groups. With everyone coming back from holiday break, working on wrapping up year end, or getting focused on new year priorities, AgGateway volunteer working sessions tend to slide a bit on the priority list.

The Take-Home from AEF Tech Week

The week of 20 January I attended the second AEF Tech Week session at Panasonic’s facility in the southern part of Munich, Germany. The meetings focused of four primary teams in AEF: WIC (Wireless Infield Communication); HSI (High Speed ISOBUS); AgIN (Agricultural Interoperability Network); and DCS (Digital Camera Systems). While some of these projects only have a tangential impact on AgGateway work, AgIN is right in our wheelhouse and an area where AEF and AgGateway have been working to collaborate. Read more >
