Working Group Progress Report Ahead of Altoona Meeting

Weather Data API WG Calling All Stakeholders

The value of weather data to the ag industry cannot be overstated; from driving decisions on the ground to helping strategize at the supply chain and insurance level, weather data is critically important. Like many other data sources in the industry, however, it suffers from a lack of standardization, which creates problems when trying to scale solutions.

April Meeting Review, Agrishow Preview

On April 16th, AgGateway Latin America hosted a Member Meeting at DataFarm, based in Sumaré/SP. In the morning, a lecture was held with the theme: "Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture: Myths and Facts" featuring José Damico, CEO of SciCrop. After lunch, we held a Workshop with representatives from the five largest soil analysis laboratories in the country – IBRA, Laborsolo, Base, Ribersolo, and Exata – to discuss and technically validate Modus from the WG11 working group. The session was led by Ronaldo Oliveira from Embrapa Solos. Read more >
