Last month my wife and I spent some time away from home on a sort of work-cation. We drove to a place we’ve been for many, many years, and expected to travel roads so familiar the car could practically drive itself. After the 2022 Annual Conference, some members approached us about expanding the available opportunities for training at our in=person events on the implementation and use of the Ag Industry Identification System (AGIIS). We’re always open to member suggestions, and thrilled that we have been able to create and deliver enhanced AGIIS learning sessions, starting with the Mid-Year Meeting this past June. Read more >
Regional Updates

On October 4, AgGateway Latin America held a member meeting in São Paulo/SP at Cubo Itaú, one of the most famous Innovation Hubs in Brazil. We were able to get a full immersion in the work of this organization, and learned about the businesses of three of the startups that are hosted at Cubo. Read more >

Details are coming together for the AgGateway Europe Region Year-End Seminar. The event, chaired by Klaus-Hebert Rolf of Class and 365FarmNet, will be held on Thursday 7 December from 9:00 - 16:00 CET (Paris) in Brussels at the Saxony-Anhalt to the EU. Read more >
Partner News
A relatively new addition to the AgGateway fold is the National Agricultural Producers Data Cooperative (NAPDC). This group is run out of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is funded through a USDA-NIFA grant.
The aim is to help sort out some of the issues with data exchange – especially as it pertains to working with academia and government agencies – with a view toward creating a blueprint for a US national framework for agricultural data. Read more >

Software Solutions Integrated has been a deep and frequent contributor to a number of AgGateway initiatives over the years. In 2023, the Scale Ticket work was of particular interest to the company.
The company wasted no time providing volunteers for the work, including newly hired Grain Specialist Leif Wildman. He supports the grain side of the business by providing recommendations to the development team about how future enhancements may look, and helping the company understand customer needs and concerns.
