Ag on the Mall

Bringing our Collaborative Message to the Beltway

By Paul Schrimpf, Director of Marketing and Communications

AgGateway will step into the limelight in Washington, DC along with several leading manufacturers and agriculture organizations as part of the Ag on the National Mall festival. Jeremy Wilson, Jim Wilson, and Paul Schrimpf will represent AgGateway May 6–8th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Coordinated by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) and themed “The Future of Food and Farming on the National Mall,” the event is designed to celebrate and showcase America’s equipment manufacturers, farmers, ranchers, and innovators, working together to drive the tradition of producing more with less environmental impact. The event is open to the public and all are encouraged to visit the National Mall to interact with the equipment and exhibits and get an up-close look at the machines that are often only seen on America’s farm fields.

Twenty-five participating AEM member companies will be showcasing cutting-edge innovations, including alternatively powered equipment, autonomous systems with live demonstrations and an array of other tools that are enabling the Ag industry to sustainably feed the world. And AgGateway will join 30 agriculture partnering organizations to add their voices to this incredible story.

AEM, member companies and partner organizations are working to engage members of Congress, regulators and members of their staff to welcome them to visit the event and interact with participating manufacturers and organizations.

“Our representatives are looking forward to sharing the tremendous work and resources that AgGateway brings to the table for the industry as we work toward bringing seamless digital connectivity to the agriculture,” says Brent Kemp, AgGateway President and CEO. “Policy makers have laid out some ambitious goals related to sustainability, food safety, and carbon sequestration, much of which will rely on the interconnected systems and interoperable data that AgGateway is working on in collaboration with its more than 200 member organizations.”

AgGateway will share a designated area of the Mall called the “Digital Ag Pavilion” with several leading technology companies and organizations, including the Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation (AEF).
