On April 16th, AgGateway Latin America hosted a Member Meeting at DataFarm, based in Sumaré/SP. In the morning, a lecture was held with the theme: "Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture: Myths and Facts" featuring José Damico, CEO of SciCrop. After lunch, we held a Workshop with representatives from the five largest soil analysis laboratories in the country – IBRA, Laborsolo, Base, Ribersolo, and Exata – to discuss and technically validate Modus from the WG11 working group. The session was led by Ronaldo Oliveira from Embrapa Solos.
In the first week of May, the largest agricultural fair in Brazil takes place – Agrishow in Ribeirão Preto/SP. In 2023, this event brought together more than 800 exhibiting brands and drew more than 195,000 qualified visitors. The latest and newest in rural technology will be on display at Agrishow, and AgGateway will have a presence. Latin America Director José Alexandre Loyola will be visiting and recognizing AgGateway members who have a stand at the fair and will also be prospecting for new members.
