Mid-Year Meeting

Mid-Year Meeting Checklist

We are now just six weeks from the start of AgGateway’s 2024 Mid-Year Meeting, which officially kicks off Monday, 10 June. Now is the time to get your planning in order to ensure you gain the most value from your time in Altoona. Listed below are some ideas to consider and helpful links as you finalize your plans:

  1. First, Get Registered. Members can use the MyAgGateway portal to register for the Conference.
  2. Review the Agenda. Staff has worked hard to space out sessions by likely areas of interest, so hopefully you will be able to attend everything you want. If it’s too much for one person, consider recruiting additional attendees to take part.
  3. Refreshers and Orientation Courses. Speaking of inviting other participants from your organization, keep in mind that the Mid-Year Meeting is a rich source of programming for those that are new to the organization, or who need to brush up on what AgGateway has to offer. It’s also a great way to engage with other members and develop professionally.
  4. Lock In Accommodations. The hotel discount deadline is May 18, so be sure to make your reservations now to get the best available rate. Group Code: 061024AGGATEWAY, Password: 863001850
  5. Working Group and Committee Meetings. Each meeting will have a clear agenda going into the conference, so you can plan ahead and make best use of your time at the meeting. If you have any questions about the status or agenda for a particular session, you can reach out to Ben Craker (Ben.Craker@AgGateway.org) for more information.
  6. Networking and Camaraderie. In addition to the learning session and working groups, the Mid-Year Meeting offers plenty of opportunities to network and engage with other professionals. The Monday evening reception with horse racing was very popular last year, and we’re doing it again this year. Lunches, breaks, and the second day reception provide many additional chances to make new connections and engage with members.
  7. Sponsor Opportunities Still Available. There are still opportunities for your organization to demonstrate its commitment to digital connectivity through sponsorship of the Mid-Year Meeting. Click here to review the sponsor brochure.
