June Mid-Year Seminar Preview

Plans are well underway for AgGateway Europe’s Mid-Year Seminar to be held Thursday, 20 June from 9:00 to 16:00 Central Europe Time in Osnabrück, Germany. The program is open to all stakeholders involved in digital connectivity in agriculture.

The program will feature several short presentations focused om relevant developments in data sharing and data processing in smart sustainable farming and precision agriculture. The list of potential topics to be presented and discussed include:

  1. Developments in supporting The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) .
  2. Carbon footprint and sustainable farming.
  3. Handling buffer zones in precision farming.
  4. Field identification and field boundaries.
  5. Field robotics and image processing.

Other topics will be announced in the weeks ahead. If your organization or company would like to contribute to this event with a short presentation that fits the objectives of this meeting, please reach out to me by email.

The program will also include updates from the active AgGateway working groups, including: WG04 Modus (exchange of soil test analysis results); WG23 Weather and Forecast; and 'WG25 Dairy Feeding Data'.
