By Chris Crutchfield, AgGateway Member Services
For almost 15 years the Ag Industry Identification System (AGIIS) has been providing the essential building blocks for the exchange of business data. Throughout the years key enhancements and modifications have been added to AGIIS such as web services, seed licenses and ResponsibleAg certification notifications; all of which have made our subscribers’ jobs a little easier. The AGIIS service has delivered many benefits, efficiencies and cost savings for companies.
These successes would not have been possible without the ongoing guidance and knowledge of the AgGateway Directory Oversight Committee, councils, project teams and individual members. Its operations and enhancements would not be possible without the financial support of all AGIIS subscribers, but there have been a group of companies that have sponsored AGIIS financially above published subscriber rates.
AgGateway wants to recognize these companies for their commitment and dedication to the AgGateway mission to promote and enable the industry's transition to digital agriculture, and expand the use of information to maximize efficiency and productivity.
As a small tribute of appreciation, the AGIIS website will display a scrolling banner of these companies’ logos along with verbiage recognizing their contributions. This feature is scheduled to be released at the end of May.
AgGateway appreciates everyone’s support and looks forward to the future and the exciting achievements yet to come!
