Member Services Live in Altoona!

Here we are, just days away from the 2019 AgGateway Mid-Year Meeting at Prairie Meadows Resort & Casino in Altoona, Iowa! As in past years, AgGateway Member Services will be on hand throughout the week, manning the “Member Services Live!” desk. The purpose of Member Services Live is to provide you one-on-one attention, helping you locate and use AgGateway resources, answer questions about AgGateway membership or an AGIIS subscription, and answer questions about meeting sessions.

We will also facilitate several education sessions that will help you better understand the AgGateway organization and some of the products AgGateway offers:

  • For those new to AgGateway, Member Services will be leading an AgGateway 101 session on Monday at 10:00 am. This session will discuss the structure of AgGateway, how we operate, and ways you can get the most out of your attendance at the Mid-Year Meeting.
  • On Tuesday, at 8:00 am, AGIIS Product Manager Josh Wall will host an Ag Industry Identification System (AGIIS) 101 session. This session will provide an overview of the features and functionality that AGIIS provides. Josh will review the value of unique identifiers to the industry and discuss the benefits of AGIIS to AgGateway members. He will also cover how your organization can become an AGIIS subscriber and review the steps to get started. This session is recommended for new AGIIS users or individuals from companies that are considering subscribing to AGIIS.
  • For companies interested in adding products to AGIIS, Liz Sertl from GS1 will be leading a GTIN 101 session on Tuesday at 9:00 am. The session will discuss the value and use of product identifiers based on the Global Trade Item Number (GTIN).

Look for Member Services Live near the registration desk, where we’ll be providing everyone a centralized resource for help and direction. Please stop by at least once during the week – it’s an excellent time to review your contact information on file with AgGateway and to review your company roster.
