Committee mission: Educate members on best practices and forward-looking considerations regarding information security and data privacy in the ag industry. Many AgGateway members have sizable internal staffs handling these activities, but many do not and benefit from an industry group sharing such information. The group also acts as a contact point for other industry initiatives, such as the Ag Data Transparency Evaluator and the Ag Data Coalition.

Goals: Provide tools and education to help members implement privacy and security protocols following industry best practices; to host at least one educational speaker a year; and to increase awareness and use of AgGateway’s white papers, tools and other resources on this subject.
