Stephanie Liska, CEO, Beck Ag Our keynote speaker, Liska will be speaking on using data to drive customer insights. At Beck Ag Liska is instrumental in the strategic actions to support Beck Ag’s long-term vision while also overseeing the short-term focus on delivering value for clients and their customers. Liska joined Beck Ag with a family farm background and more than 20 years of successful experience in sales and sales management experience with American Cyanamid. Prior to joining Beck Ag, she worked with Agri Business Group consulting with various organizations improving their organizational learning strategies. Norbert Schlingmann, General Manager, Agricultural Electronics Foundation (AEF) Schlingmann has been General Manager of AEF since May 2016. For the past decade he has also led the AEF Service and Diagnostic project team. Before joining AEF he worked for 20 years for the German agricultural machinery manufacturer CLAAS, serving as the head of various electronic departments, as well as work in diagnostics and standards, and software development and testing. M. Vincent Restucci, Director of Procurement & Business Technology, R.D. Offutt Farms Co. M. Vincent Restucci is the Director of Procurement & Business Technology for R.D. Offutt Farms Co., a family-owned and operated potato farm operation headquartered in Fargo, North Dakota. He oversees and manages the purchasing function for farming operations inputs including crop protection products, plant nutrients, non-potato seed sourcing, and energy products. He is also working on a team to evaluate the next generation of tools to increase farm efficiency, measure farming practices, and document stewardship. Prior to joining RDOFC, Restucci worked for over 10 years at the J.R. Simplot Company’s AgriBusiness group. Theodore (Ted) Kaouk, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Chief Data Officer Kaouk serves as USDA’s Chief Data Officer and is responsible for developing strategies that enable USDA to fully leverage its data as a strategic asset. Kaouk most recently served as Chief of Staff in the USDA Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), where he provided broad leadership, strategy, communications, and administrative support in the management of a $3-billion IT portfolio. Kaouk was a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy, where as a communications officer he oversaw a guided missile destroyer's computer network, satellite communications suite, and cryptographic program; as damage control officer, he managed all crew readiness programs for conventional, bio-chemical, and environmental threats to normal shipboard operations and stability. Kaouk began federal service in 2011 as a project manager for the CIO at USDA Rural Development (RD).
