Introducing the New AgGateway Calendar and Meeting Request Form

By Chris Crutchfield, AgGateway Member Services

I am excited to introduce two new resources to help you with AgGateway meetings: the AgGateway calendar and a meeting request form. We have added two new links on the AgGateway website under the Events and Education menu, for “Calendar” and “Request a Meeting,” and we invite you to explore both links.

About the Calendar

The calendar provides a centralized view of all AgGateway meetings and industry trade shows. The calendar, which we maintain using the Smartsheets software, provides filtering capability, allowing you to view meetings by region (North America, Europe and Latin America) or by meeting type (Committee, Sub-Committee, Working Group, Meet-Up, AgGateway Face-to-Face and Industry Trade Shows). Look for the filter icon located in the top, right-hand corner. You can access meeting details by double-clicking on the meeting entry. You will notice a “Meeting Details Wiki” link and an indication as to whether the meeting is open to all or requires an invitation. If you are interested in attending an Invite Only meeting, but did not receive an invitation, please contact Member Services for more information. The “Meeting Details Wiki” link provides AgGateway members the Go-To-Meeting call-in details to join the meeting. The link will direct you to the AgGateway wiki to obtain this information. All meeting times are posted using the United States Central (Chicago) time zone.

About the Meeting Request Form

We have also worked to create a streamlined process for members to request an AgGateway meeting. As we shared last month, Member Services is now responsible for meeting scheduling, sending meeting invitations and launching AgGateway conference calls for our members.

If you’re ready to conduct a Meet-Up, or Committee or other meeting, simply click on the Request a Meeting link and complete the form! All pertinent meeting information is included on a Smartsheet form, allowing Member Services to schedule a meeting on your behalf. Once you’ve submitted the form, the information provided is added in Smartsheets and an email notification is automatically generated that notifies Member Services of your meeting request. Member Services will set up the meeting, confirm the invite list with you, send out invitations and host the meeting or meeting series. Of course, if you have any questions, feel free to contact Member Services at any time at

We hope these new resources will provide you better visibility into AgGateway activities while also alleviating some of the administrative burden of hosting your own meetings. Member Services also welcomes any feedback you have regarding the calendar and meeting request form. Please send your feedback or any questions to
