AGIIS Learning Series 3: Directory Requests – AGIIS Resources

By Nikki Marshall, Member Services Program Manager

Next in our AGIIS (Ag Industry Identification System) tips and tricks series, I am going to talk about the various resources AGIIS users have available to them.

First is the Operational Procedures and Policy Document, which can be found under the Links menu once a user is logged in to AGIIS. These documents outline the rules by which the database is operated and runs, as created by the Directory Oversight Committee.

Next we have the documents listed under the Help menu: Help For This Page, Tutorials, and Duplicates Certification.

  • Help For This Page: When on any page in AGIIS, you can click this link and it will take you to a brief explanation of the purpose of that page, as well as definitions. From the window that pops up when it is clicked, you can also access the Glossary.
  • Tutorials: We have several tutorials available to help new users familiarize themselves with AGIIS. We highly recommend beginning with “Getting Started in AGIIS”.
  • Duplicates Certification: Any user for an organization with a full subscription can go through this course to learn how to report duplicates to the Directory Administrator. At the end of the training is a 10-question quiz that must be passed before this permission is added to your profile.

Lastly, you always have the option to contact Member Services with any questions. We are here to support you and are happy to set up a training call any time you need it.
