Mid-Year Meeting Learning Opportunities

By Chris Crutchfield, AGIIS Product Manager

With the AgGateway Mid-Year Meeting being just around the corner, I want to take this opportunity to highlight some of the education sessions being offered and lead by the Member Services team. We are certain you will find value in attending these sessions whether you are new to the AgGateway organization or are a seasoned veteran. Though the agenda is basically set, small adjustments are often necessary. So be sure to review the agenda here as the meeting gets closer.

Monday, June 9

First Time Attendee Luncheon – This session is by invitation only and is open to anyone that is attending an AgGateway in-person meeting for the first time. Lunch will be served, and attendees will get the opportunity to meet AgGateway staff and other first-time attendees.

AgGateway Essentials – This session is great for those new to the organization or simply want a better understanding of the AgGateway organization and how we collaborate to solve the industry’s pain points.

How We Collaborate at AgGateway | Wiki 101 and MyAgGateway 101 – This session will take attendees through the tools the organization utilizes to foster collaboration and derive new digital resources.

Tuesday, June 10

AGIIS 101 – This session will give attendees a broad understanding of the Ag Industry Identification System (AGIIS), how it operates, and how it is used by the Ag Industry to foster e-business between trading partners and within your own organization.

AGIIS 201 – This session takes a deeper dive into the AGIIS database and explores available functionality such as, entity and product extracts, file format specifications, product set up, maintaining entity subsets, maintaining your subscriber and user profile and more.

Wednesday, June 11

AgGateway Member Connectivity Capabilities – In this interactive session, attendees will learn how to publish their organization’s eConnectivity capabilities to the AgGateway Wiki. Attendees will also learn how to search the connectivity capabilities of their trading partners. We encourage everyone to bring their laptops and follow along with the instructions to add or update their organization's eConnectivity capabilities. It is highly recommended that attendees have an AgGateway Wiki account. If one is needed, please contact Member.Services at Member.Services@AgGateway.org.

The Member Services team is looking forward to seeing and providing you with education opportunities that will give you a better understanding of not only the AgGateway organization but also one of our primary resources, AGIIS. If you have any questions about these sessions, who should attend, or would like more information about the session, please contact Member Services at Member.Services@AgGateway.org.
