Register for Mid-Year Seminar Coming 28 May

The AgGateway Europe Region Mid-Year Seminar is just three weeks away. Now is the time to register and make plans to attend. The event takes place Thursday, 28 May 2026 from 9:00-16:00 Central Europe Time at the John Deere European Technology Innovation Center Mannheim, Germany.

The agenda will include discussions on a wide range of topics focused on data and machine interoperability:

  • Field robots and data sharing
  • Digital field and crop passports; The work of ISO/TC 347 on "Data Driven agrifood systems" - Ad Hoc Group 8 on the "Digital Land Use History report - the Field passport"
  • AGRI.A4 - Data Governance, European Commission, the Farm Sustainability Compass
  • Global farm and field identification; GS1-GLN, eIDAS, etc.
  • Data sharing permission management systems for farmers
  • Advanced satellite-based positioning systems for field operations
  • Track & Trace farm inputs

Also included in the day's activities will be a presentation by representatives of the Innovation Center and a site tour of the John Deere Mannheim factory.

As in the past, the program will provide time for several short presentations about relevant developments in data sharing and data processing.
