The LATAM Region will host its second online member meeting of the year on 27 October from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The event will include a roundtable discussion featuring operations professionals from a major sugarcane mill group, a large grain production company, and a large forestry company. The discussion will focus on the practical solutions each of these companies used to overcome challenges associated with field data interoperability.
I am also pleased to share that we have created a WhatsApp group involving the owners of the leading agronomic recommendation platforms in Brazil: Datafarm, InCeres, Geodata, Telus Ag, and Sensix, with support from AgGateway. The object is to discuss an initiative promoting data exchange interoperability among these platforms. On 7 October, we will hold the group's second online meeting to move the initiative forward and discuss its scope and next steps.
