As the spring semester begins to wind down, many students are making plans to join our member companies as summer interns. And as in past years, the Conference Committee is looking for high achieving, mature students to participate in the Gateway to Ag Careers program, held during the Annual Conference.
This program provides awarded students the opportunity to attend the meeting and network with other AgGateway members as they shadow a “host” member. It also aims to provide insight into “real world” operations and generate a heightened interest within these students as they continue to pursue careers within their respective fields.
So, keep your eyes open for those interns who would be a good fit for this valuable program. If you work with a student who shows potential leadership skills, contact Kristin Nottingham at knottingham@agvance.net.
