The Ron Storms Leadership award recognizes one AgGateway member each year for outstanding volunteer leadership achievement in promoting, enabling and expanding eBusiness in agriculture. This is considered the highest honor given to an AgGateway member.
This award is presented in memory of Ron Storms, one of the early leaders and proponents of furthering electronic connectivity in agriculture. He was active in RAPID, an AgGateway predecessor organization, and was responsible for the development and coordination of all electronic commerce activities for CF Industries.
Nominations for this prestigious award are due September 15. If you are interested in nominating someone who you feel deserves this honor, fill out the nomination form found on the Ron Storms Award webpage. As part of the nomination, you’ll be asked to list a colleague who can also attest to the candidate’s leadership.
A panel of recent award recipients will review the nominations and determine a finalist. The winner will be announced at the AgGateway Annual Conference in San Diego.
