By Eileen Licitra, Iteris and Allied Providers Council Vice-Chair
The Crop Protection Council has formed a new Implementation Working Group that will act as a forum to consider issues regarding crop protection messages and implementation. Specifically, the group seeks to improve trading partner integration, alignment with AgGateway standards, and alignment with crop protection and cross-council business rules.
Are there barriers to implementation in the crop protection sector? Let this group know! The group aims to collect, prioritize and discuss those issues, to facilitate implementation of crop protection message types. The group will provide recommendations to the wider council for formal decision-making.
Any member of the Crop Protection Council is invited to participate and to provide input. Questions and feedback are also welcomed from the other councils and committees.
Matt Garcia of Syngenta is chairing the group. AgGateway members can contact the working group distribution list at CPWG@AgGateway.org to submit questions, comments or issues they would like the group to address.
