Leslie Hedges Joins AgGateway as Director of Member Services

We are delighted to welcome Leslie Hedges as the new Director of Member Services. Leslie comes to AgGateway with 20 years of experience in the legal and real estate professions, as well as experience with nonprofit organizations.

“We are excited for Leslie to apply her strengths in customer service, management and leadership in service to AgGateway’s 200 member companies, and also as she interacts with the many prospective members that seek to reap the full benefits of digital agriculture,” said AgGateway President and CEO Wendy Smith.

Leslie will oversee AgGateway’s membership initiatives and will also support planning and execution of the organization's annual meetings. Participants in this year’s Mid-Year Meeting July 7-10 will have the opportunity to meet her virtually as part of the on-line conference.

Leslie is a licensed attorney with a Master’s in Business Administration. She is an active volunteer with P.E.O. International, a nonprofit organization that provides educational opportunities to women through scholarships, grants and loans; she served as the organization’s Chicago chapter president. While new to agriculture, Leslie believes her fresh perspective and customer relationship skills will create new value for AgGateway members.

“I’m excited to join AgGateway and look forward to getting to know our members and understanding what is important to them,” she said.

Leslie grew up in St. Charles, Missouri, and currently lives in Durham, North Carolina. She enjoys kayaking, hiking and playing golf, and hopes to soon return to her other favorite activities which include traveling, wine tasting, and discovering new restaurants.
