Latin America

Wrapping Up a Productive Year

By José Alexandre Loyola, AgGateway Latin America Regional Director

Both myself and Adriano Becker of CNH Industrial, who serves as the AgGateway Board Chair, were excited to be in Nashville last month at AgGateway’s Annual Conference representing the Latin America region. Adriano was very impressed with the topics covered at the event and excited about projects taking place within and across all AgGateway regions. If you would like to know more about what happened at the conference from Adriano's point of view, we created a “live” interview on our YouTube channel (in Portuguese), and we invite you to check it out.

On November 29, we held the last meeting of the year for the Latin America Steering Committee, at Venturus in Campinas/SP. During the meeting we reviewed the main actions carried out in 2021 in each of the three pillars of AgGateway’s strategic plan: create, engage and grow. We welcome Guilherme Panes (Jact) who was elected for the 2022-2023 biennium by the members, replacing member Warsis Slywitch (Tecgraf), who ends his term on the Steering Committee for the Latin America region this year.

Our last meeting of 2021 for all AgGateway members interested in the Latin America region, will be held December 7. We’ll give a summary of the events and actions of 2021, including a review of the Annual Conference; we’ll provide perspectives for 2022 for AgGateway as a whole and specific to the Latin America region.
