Mid-Year Meeting

A Joyous Return to an In-Person Experience

Preliminary Agenda Set for 2022 Mid-Year Meeting

Planning is well underway for AgGateway’s 2022 Mid-Year Meeting, June 13-16 at Prairie Meadows in Altoona, IA. Registration opens soon, and a preliminary agenda can be found here.

We’re ready to celebrate the return of AgGateway’s Mid-Year Meeting as a 100% in-person experience for the first time in two years. We are pleased to be back at Prairie Meadows, which has provided the ultimate setting for hard work, collaboration, and good fun for meeting attendees.

The rubber hits the road at this annual summer gathering, which will draw more than 250 industry professionals. Most attendees have been active in AgGateway working groups and committees that are moving the organization’s myriad projects toward completion.

Some highlights from the 2022 Agenda so far include the following sessions:

  • Opening Keynote Presentation, “The Transformative Power of Connected Data in Ag Retail,” will feature Matt Carstens, President and CEO of Landus Ag. Carstens is passionate about the role retail plays in the future of the agriculture value chain, and provides his perspective on how data interoperability can help to solidify and optimize this position.
  • Wide range of targeted meet-ups and working sessions that set the stage for future AgGateway initiatives.
  • Pre-Conference workshop, “Tackling Adoption Barriers Beyond Technology,” to help retailers identify and take on the cultural obstacles to connectivity adoption. This session will be facilitated by Land O’Lakes.
  • High-value networking featuring retail, distribution, and manufacturing representatives that maximize the meeting experience.
