AgGateway is pleased to welcome Stephen Christian to the organization as Member Services Analyst. Stephen fills a staff role that was vacated by the departmental promotions of Chris Crutchfield and Nikki Marshall late last year following Josh Wall’s departure.
In this role, Stephen will assist AgGateway members and AGIIS subscribers through enabling, promoting, and expanding e-business. He will be responsible for the intake and resolution of inbound/outbound phone calls, emails, request processing, operational support activities, and AgGateway problem resolution follow-up.
Born Labrador City, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, Stephen holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and mathematics from the Memorial University of Newfoundland. He moved to the Toronto area to work for DuPont Canada, where he spent more than a decade working in the Pioneer and Crop groups on the PrecisionPac application. When DuPont outsourced its IT to a DXC Technologies predecessor company in 1997, Stephen joined the organization. DXC maintains AgGateway’s AGIIS platform and is contracted to provide AgGateway member support. Stephen will now turn his full attention to AgGateway member and subscriber services.
“I am pleased to welcome Stephen to the AgGateway team," says Brent Kemp, AgGateway President and CEO. "His experience with other agriculture companies as well as his dedication to customer service make him an ideal addition to the Member Services group. If you have a moment to drop him a line or happen to reach him on a call to Member Services, please say hello."
