End of Year Outreach and Events

I was pleased to represent the Latin America region at the AgGateway North America Annual Meeting and Conference in Austin, TX last month. I participated in several Working Group sessions to update members in the region on the status of ongoing projects, and accepted the AgGateway In Action Award for the Latin America region on behalf of member Flávio Barros of Proagrica.

I was back home last week and represented AgGateway with an exhibit booth at the Brazilian Congress of Precision Agriculture (ConBAP 2024). This is a biannual event that brings together researchers, professionals, academics, companies and rural producers, and users of the different techniques involved in precision and digital agriculture and is the largest event in this segment in the country. It also features national and international lectures, plenary sessions, presentation of scientific papers, and a space for exhibiting products and services. It also provided a great opportunity for networking and prospecting.

On 3 December, we are holding the last in-person meeting of members at AgNest in Jaguariúna/SP, with an agenda full of important topics for discussion, such as market trends for 2025, a presentation of the digital transformation index, a retrospective of AgGateway 2024, a tour of AgNest and the entity's action plan for 2025.
