Welcome Board Member Marcy Morris

AgGateway welcomes Marcy Morris to the Strategic Board of Directors. Morris is an IT Director at CHS Inc., a leading global agribusiness diversified in energy, grains and foods, owned by farmers, ranchers and cooperatives across the United States. She joined CHS in 1999 and is accountable for all global and domestic agribusiness operations. Her organization supports about two-thirds of the 12,000 employees employed globally by CHS.

Morris applies a focus in her work to IT “relationship management”, a role that represents the business within IT and the IT within the business. She has demonstrated expertise in defining strategic plans, portfolio management, and implementing applications, processes and solutions.

In addition to her regular duties at CHS, she recently served on the SAP Agri-Council on behalf of CHS and led a work group on efficient and sustainable farming. She has helped lead CHS United Way and Women-in-Leadership initiatives. She is a steward in the community through volunteer work with local charities and community athletic associations – and is also a seven-time marathon runner, including the 2016 Boston Marathon.
