Precision spraying – through ground spraying or by drones, site-specific data availability, and autonomous equipment – is changing what pesticide applications looks like. It is also identifying important considerations about the added value to farmers, including the value of capturing compliance information and tying it back to label requirements.
This Inside AgGateway webinar will feature a panel of experts engaged in several industry projects, including AgriGuide, which is working on machine-actionable digital plant protection product labels, and the European Precision Application Task Force (EUPAF), which is building regulatory frameworks flexible enough to accommodate new technologies. The discussion will include a look at where emerging application technologies are headed and what data infrastructure will be needed to support them.
