2024 Gateway to Ag Careers Program – Nominations Close September 15

By Paul Schrimpf, Director of Marketing and Communications

AgGateway is accepting nominations for its 2024 Gateway to Ag Careers Program through September 15. This program offers an opportunity for selected students to attend the AgGateway Annual Conference this fall to network with agriculture industry professionals, take in high-value learning sessions, and get a deeper understanding of the career opportunities available in high-tech agriculture.

The 2024 program’s premier sponsor is the AgCIO Roundtable, with additional financial support from Syngenta.

The program will award each selected student with roundtrip airfare, accommodations at the conference hotel, and conference registration fees. Successful nominees are high achieving, mature students who are working toward a career in agriculture. Faculty, academic and/or professional advisors are asked to submit nominations via email using the application to AgGateway’s Member Services team by September 15. Award letters will be issued shortly after this date, and students must then verify acceptance of these awards.

During the conference, students will be paired with a mentor – an AgGateway member with whom they will attend the various conference presentations and meetings. In addition to networking with attendees, the students will have valuable one-on-one time with members of the AgCIO Roundtable. This will be a prime opportunity for participating students to ask questions and gain valuable insights into our member organizations and the industry.

We look forward to reviewing the nominations and welcoming another excellent slate of future industry leaders at this year’s conference!
