AgGateway’s ADAPT Releases ISO Plugin: Major Step Forward for ADAPT Implementation

AgGateway’s ADAPT Framework, which is designed to make it easy for various hardware and software systems that growers use in their businesses to “talk to each other”, has a new tool to help developers: the ADAPT ISO Plugin. AgGateway has released Version 2 of the ADAPT ISO Plugin, making it easier for Farm Management Information Systems (FMIS) to read and write data to/from displays and terminals that use the ISOXML specification. AgGateway Announces 2018 Leadership

AgGateway has announced its 2018 leadership, including the directors of its Strategic Board and Operational Management Board, and leaders of its councils and committees. The non-profit organization, which has more than 200 member companies, is moving into its 13th year in expanding how agricultural information can be better managed to maximize efficiency and productivity.

“We have a terrific slate of directors and leaders once again this year, and I’m excited about the work we’ll be doing to benefit agribusinesses and related industries,” said AgGateway President and CEO Wendy Smith. “AgGateway and its members thank these individuals and their companies, which have recognized how essential this work is to the ongoing success of the ag industry.” Read more...

AgGateway and ResponsibleAg Offer New Capability for Rapid, Automated Look-Up of Certified Fertilizer Facilities

AgGateway and ResponsibleAg have collaborated on new look-up functionality that allows fertilizer manufacturers, distributors and retailers to quickly and automatically confirm that fertilizer locations they are doing business with are certified for safe fertilizer storage and handling. Certified locations are now included in AgGateway’s Ag Industry Identification System (AGIIS), a database that houses agricultural reference data for industry subscribers. AGIIS is used widely by crop nutrition companies to provide location and product identifiers that allow for the automated exchange of data between agri-businesses. To access the new functionality, companies must be AGIIS subscribers and ResponsibleAg participants. Read more...
