Give us a quick synopsis of your career path – where did you start, and where are you now?
I grew up on a corn/soybean farm in central Illinois, worked for two grain companies, built and ran a software company for nine years, worked in the distilled spirits industry in IT, and have been at Syngenta for 4+ years. Read more...

Crop Nutrition Task Force Develops OrderCreate Guideline

Many Crop Nutrition companies may not have the resources or capability to send orders electronically using either the ANSI X12 850 Order message or the AgGateway XML OrderCreate message. In order to provide more ways that our crop nutrition members and channel partners could send information electronically, a task force was formed to see if an XML OrderCreate could be mapped in an Excel document to the EDI 850 X12 Order message to enable the sellers to consume those Excel files electronically. LinkedIn Group Featured Topic: Retaining Membership?

Did you know that AgGateway has a LinkedIn group? The purpose of the group is to share great content, articles and other types of information that others within the group, especially AgGateway members, would be interested in. LinkedIn groups are also a great place to pose questions for the members to answer.

At the Mid-Year Meeting, the Membership Committee asked how they could better utilize the LinkedIn group. One of the suggestions that came out was to ask questions to increase engagement in the LinkedIn group. A couple of questions have been asked, and we will be featuring them in the AgGateway newsletter to let everyone know about them. Read more...
